  17. <p>     The Saturday-morning-TV star's arrest in a Florida porno-movie
  18. theater is reminiscent of some other famous figures who have been
  19. caught in shamemaking situations:

  21. <p>     NAKED HOLLYWOOD. Rob Lowe's X-rated cavorting in an Atlanta
  22. hotel room became his greatest starring role and provided yet
  23. another reason for the Democrats to forget the 1988 convention.
  24. </p>
  25. <p>     A SHINING EXAMPLE. Doug Danziger, Fort Lauderdale's
  26. conservative vice mayor who has crusaded against college students
  27. on spring break, topless bars and adult bookstores, resigned last
  28. week after his name allegedly turned up on the client list of a
  29. woman who says she tried to cure her nymphomania by having sex
  30. with different men.

  32. <p>     THE ROYAL STUD (I). Major Ronald Ferguson, the father of the
  33. Duchess of York ("Fergie") and a polo-playing chum of Prince
  34. Charles' was revealed to be a loyal member of a London "health"
  35. club specializing in massage and sex.

  37. <p>     THE ROYAL STUD (II). Fergie's husband Prince Andrew received
  38. some unwelcome publicity four weeks ago when a 1983 full-frontal
  39. nude photo snapped by a friend was published in an English
  40. tabloid.
  41. </p>
  42. <p>     LOW AND OUTSIDE. New York Yankees superstar Don Mattingly was
  43. arrested for indecent conduct in 1985 for urinating in public
  44. after leaving a Kansas City restaurant. Two days later police
  45. hauled in Mattingly's teammate Dale Berra for doing the same thing
  46. in the same area.

  48. <p>     DANNY'S BOY. Last month former Partridge Family star Danny
  49. Bonaduce agreed to a plea-bargain arrangement on charges that he
  50. beat and robbed Darius Barney, a Phoenix transvestite prostitute,
  51. after a sex act. Bonaduce must pay up to $3,000 in medical costs
  52. for the victim's reconstructive surgery.
